Kolog Nigeria Limited recognises that waste management operations have a direct impact on the environment. We are committed to operating responsibly, minimising environmental harm, and contributing positively to the sustainability of the communities we serve in the Sangotedo and Ajah corridor. Environmental responsibility is integrated into every aspect of our operations, from collection and transportation to processing and disposal.
Maximise the diversion of recyclable and recoverable materials from landfill through our structured Recycling & Recovery Initiative. We aim to increase our monthly recycling throughput year-on-year.
Prevent pollution from our operations by maintaining vehicles and equipment to reduce emissions, preventing leachate spills during collection and transport, and ensuring proper containment at all handling points.
Comply with all applicable environmental laws and regulations, including LAWMA guidelines, Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) requirements, and National Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agency (NESREA) standards.
Optimise collection routes to minimise fuel consumption and vehicle emissions. Reduce paper and resource usage in our offices through digital billing and electronic communication.
Support waste reduction and recycling awareness within the communities we serve through estate engagement programmes, school outreach, and educational materials.

Environmental performance is monitored through monthly tracking of recycling volumes, waste-to-landfill ratios, fuel consumption, and incident reports. This policy is reviewed annually and updated to reflect operational changes, new regulations, or improved practices.
Customers, community members, and employees are encouraged to report any environmental concerns related to our operations. Reports can be made through our contact page, by phone, or through the complaints procedure. All reports are investigated and addressed promptly.
